Mr. Hummel has been involved in a variety of civil engineering projects with an emphasis on highway engineering. He has worked in project definition, start-up, budgeting, scheduling, quality control and monitoring as well as design, construction inspection and project closeout. He was construction engineer for bituminous overlays, sign modernization and pavement marking; bridge rehabilitation, thin bonded concrete overlays and related. He has been design engineer and project manager and has worked on designs involving interchange modifications, interstate "4R" rehabilitation, storm drainage and associated cost estimates, project scheduling personnel/resource assignment, review and evaluation. He has worked with various clients including a number of private and local, state and federal entities.
