Paul A. Hummel, P.E.
Senior Vice President & Senior Civil EngineerPaul Hummel has over 24 years of experience in transportation engineering and construction administration. Currently a senior vice president of Lawson-Fisher Associates, he is responsible for management and oversight of all transportation projects, field surveys and services during construction. Paul has a thorough understanding of the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) and its policies. In total, he has been project manager on over 65 INDOT projects. Paul received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Indiana and Michigan.
Michael F. Johnston, P.E.
Senior Civil EngineerMichael Johnston, a Registered Professional Engineer in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio, has over 35 years of experience in the areas of his primary responsibility: transportation, civil and general construction projects. He has managed highway and civil engineering projects from conceptual analysis and feasibility design to construction plan preparation. Michael has also managed highway and traffic design projects, supervised construction administration of Local Public Agency (LPA) Federal Aid transportation and bridge projects, and served as Design Project Engineer. He is a graduate of the Indiana Institute of Technology .
Dennis A. Zebell, P.E.
Senior Civil EngineerDennis Zebell is a Senior Civil Engineer with over 30 years of experience in the fields of water resources, water and wastewater with specific expertise in the design and construction management of dams, levees, storm sewers, sanitary sewers, water distribution, pumping stations and storm water management. Dennis has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the states of Indiana, Michigan, Illinois and Colorado. Dennis has been involved in a significant number of dam rehabilitation projects for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) and the Indiana Department of Administration (IDOA) including the Goshen Pond Dam in Goshen, Indiana; the Sylvan Lake Dam in Rome City, Indiana; the Jimmerson Lake Dam near Angola, Indiana and the Koontz Lake Dam in Koontz Lake, Indiana. Dennis has also been involved in FERC regulated dam and hydroelectric facility analyses and studies. Mr. Zebell’s experience includes numerous storm, sanitary and water projects for various municipalities in the state of Indiana including the Town of Griffith, City of Mishawaka, City of South Bend, City of Goshen, Town of Highland and others.
Sky K. Medors, P.E., CFM, CPESC
Senior Civil EngineerA Certified Floodplain Manager, Sky Medors has excellent experience in the design and management of water resource projects. He has participated in both urban and rural hydrology and hydraulics projects and has been involved with the development of Emergency Action Plans for high hazard dams, including the testing and annual updating of these plans. Medors has likewise served as project manager for a variety of water resource projects from planning through design and construction phases. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio and an active member of many professional engineering associations. Sky received his degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University.
