Hydropower

With renewed interest in sustainable energy resources, hydropower is once again viewed as an attractive source for clean, domestic energy production. However, as noted by the American Society of Civil Engineers which supports the development and use of hydropower, care must be taken to be sure it is done in a way that minimizes potential environmental impacts, maximizes safety and balances the use of resources.
